I grew up with the sentiment that death was an offensive topic you don’t bring up. The Mexican holiday of Dia De Los Muertos opened my eyes to a different attitude when I first learned about it years ago. To honor life and death in such an artistic and celebratory way is inspiring and touching. Thank you to my wonderful team for collaborating with me on this.

♥️ Everything about Dia De Muertos is beautiful to me, from the traditions, to the art, to the celebration, to the people. Thank you to a brilliant creative team who worked so diligently in a short period of time to bring this to life. You are talented and wonderful 🙏.

A colleague recently inspired me to share more and get over my own imposter syndrome. Thank you for the motivation @lyonsphotos. Happy weekend y’all.

Finally getting some reps in at the studio.

🤔😀🤩 First portfolio book! Really digging tangible promo material right now. There’s something about seeing your work printed on cards or books that seems just a little different than on screen. I’m really interested in producing yearly books to send out to prospective leads and current clients. What do you all think? What has your experience been like marketing to clients this way? Any advice on what has worked and what hasn’t? DM me with your 💭!

Feeling bluesy. ⠀

I posted just 3 pieces of original work on the gram in 2019. That’s crazy low. I can bump that to 4 in 2020. Maybe... 🤔⠀

I Had an opportunity to work with some wonderful people this weekend and do some location portrait work while on assignment. It’s been a long time som since I’ve shot like this but I’m inspired to get back out there and work on some personal stuff in the new year. To quote one of my favorite sayings, “Creation is iteration.” ➡️ Adam Savage.
